It starts when you do.
Connect your car once with a Shortcuts automation. When your iPhone joins CarPlay or your car's Bluetooth, Fairmile starts recording, even with the app closed, and stops when you park.

Fairmile records your drives while you drive and turns them into a tax-ready mileage log for the IRS, CRA, HMRC, Revenue, ATO or IRD. No buttons to press. No account to make.

Why Fairmile
Most people lose deductions because they forget to write drives down. Fairmile does the writing, so every business mile counts.

How it works
Connect your car once with a Shortcuts automation. When your iPhone joins CarPlay or your car's Bluetooth, Fairmile starts recording, even with the app closed, and stops when you park.

New drives wait in To review. Swipe them into Business or Personal, or let your rules do it for you: work hours, places and routes you repeat.

Each drive keeps its route, start and end address, distance, time and purpose, with the deduction worked out at your country's rate for that day.

See the month and the tax year at a glance, then export a PDF in your tax authority's format or a free spreadsheet, or email it to your accountant in one tap.

Built for
Six countries
Fairmile applies the official rate for each drive's date, with tiers, caps and tax years handled for you.
Rates as published by each tax authority, checked October 2026. Fairmile updates them in the app when they change.

Questions
No. Fairmile records location while a drive is in progress and for a short while after it ends, in case you set off again. The rest of the time it doesn't track you.
No. A Shortcuts automation can start drives when your iPhone connects to CarPlay or to your car's Bluetooth. You can also start a drive from the widget, Control Center or Siri.
Reports include what tax authorities typically ask for: date, start and end, distance, purpose and the rate used. What you can claim depends on your situation, so check with your accountant. Fairmile isn't tax advice.
Nothing is charged. Tracking, sorting and CSV export stay free forever. PDF reports, rules and emailing your accountant need Pro.
